I love what he says …
I love what he says, but just the timbre of his voice is calming, like Xanax without the toxic qualities.

I went through a horrible crisis about 5 years ago. It took me a good three years to get out of the dark place I was in. But as horrible as it was, my consciousness has expanded in the way he described, and my life is on a new, better path. For the first time I’m starting to relate to other people in healthy, wholesome ways. This makes me believe that Dr. Breeding is spot-on accurate.

    Thank you for your …
Thank you for your breath of fresh air! Sometimes, it’s difficult not to get at war with your own feelings of anger and pain, and I for one, need to be reminded of this perspective. Shed a ray of light on a dark corner, and it’s just corner when yer do! It’s a shame that it’s sooo taboo to feel sadness or anger sometimes in a world such as this one presently is! It would be a hard heart that didn’t feel it at all for sure, and that in itself is a sad thing!

    John you should be …
John you should be the new force in mental health. You are dead on and accurate. I’m sure you would reach much resistance though because the drug companies and mental health feild would lose tons of money…lol. People would get time off from work and life when they need it most and Corporate America would go beserk! But…you are absolutely right in what you say…and you r free on you tube. You should boot Dr.Phil though he has some good stuff…your perspective covers a wider range of things.

    I have just gone …
I have just gone through a long period of withdrawel…when I say withdrawel I have been functioning..going through the routine of what i’m supposed to do but not really being ‘there’. I am reconnecting with myself but its scary and all about belief…taking a leap of faith, that you can reconnect, be myself….gonna take alot of willpower. Thanks for the vid Dr Breeding.

    Dr. John Breeding I …
Dr. John Breeding I am always amazed of your wisdom of psychology and mental illnesses. What do you mean by “there’s no guarentees” when you talk about coming out of innitiation in a new space. Does this mean there’s a chance I could be in mental upheavel and emotional upheavel forever? lucky enough my feelings of not knowing what’s up with what will go away? This frightens me

    (I meant that he …
(I meant that he finally got annoyed and got out of bed… He didn’t drink the glass of milk, of course)

  • fluxoid says:

    When you spoke …
When you spoke about the hero’s journey and depression, I remembered an iclandic viking saga (they were about people that have existed). There was a man (viking) called Eigil Skallagrimsson, and he lost his son. After that he refused to get out of bed for a long time. But one day his daughter gave him a glass of milk, and he said: “What is this? I never drink milk! I only drink mjød! (beer)”. Then he finally had it and got up, and “back to business” so to speak. That was about 1100 years ago :)

    Thanks John! I’d …
Thanks John! I’d like to hear more about specific success stories. Learning about folks who have emotionally shut down in one way or another for a few years and then recovered. As a layperson with limited exposure to these situations, I know two people who are successful and happy after a few years of extreme behavior. Both recovered without neuroleptic drugs. Learning from you about more folks like this would be encouraging for those of us who want to practice natural healing.

    Yes, she got all …
Yes, she got all her vaccines on time, except the MMR, which I believe would have sent her over the top. As it is if I can get the language going the rest would be a piece of cake. She is so well behaved, hardly if ever as any tantrums, and we can see we are heading to recovery.

    i agree. diet, …
i agree. diet, exercise, and a healthy sleep cycle will do more for your mental health than all the government poisons they could ever pump into you.

about your daughter though… did you vaccinate her? i am curious about the link between mercury based preservatives in the vaccine shots and autism.

    indeed there is …
indeed there is much about mental health care that can be improved. options, for one. medication can, of course have, it’s place. an integrated approach seems ideal. i’ve experienced both caring for patients and had personal experiences with depression as well. seeing it from both perspectives inspires me to seek out and support that clients always have choices. health care sovereignty & with assistance, as needed and/or requested. i say that’s a beautiful vision.

  • MuntucoGer1 says:

    What a reasonable, …
What a reasonable, rational and kind man. Clearly emotionally and intellectually intelligent. Also a person not looking for attention, but offering his time to compose and deliver growth-encouraging, releasing information. The fact is that 10 years ago, we would never have been able to punch in a few words and find materials like this one from Dr. Breeder. Ever make you wonder why we’re more conneted these days?

    Great ideas. “Go …
Great ideas. “Go with the flow” makes a lot of sense. He explains it so clearly, and he’s so quirky, his outbursts crack me up.
“So you reject that and try to be totally generous and giving all the time!!!!!!”
