As a female, you do not have the hormonal capacity to have really big muscles like a man would. Doing a workout like this is geared more towards conditioning and fat loss than muscle size. It will make you stronger, but it won’t get you big. However, if fat loss is your goal, I wouldn’t shy away from the traditional 15-20 minute interval cardio sessions. You should do weights and cardio.
ive just started … ive just started watching these videos .. and he mentioned about how cardio alone is not good for. as i begin doing weight training … will a workout like this make my muscles really big? my goal is to tone my body more, lose the fat, while building muscles but not TOO much. seeing as i’m a girl, i don’t want to look like a buff guy =P
so basically, just wondering if this workout would still be useful for my goals
